as the name suggests, the gates ajar is centered around a set of large white gates which have been fixed open to provide a way through for those passing by. the gates themselves are aged and the tradition of planting the gates has been going on for decades. the walls flanking the gates are planted vertically while the beds surrounding the feet of the gates are planted with a new set of thematic plants each year. the gates host many engagement and wedding photos as well as many anniversary photos
